Kiwanis Club of West St Paul
Our club was chartered in 1944. The club is composed of business and professional people who live or work in the areas surrounding West St Paul. We meet every Tuesday at noon at West Side Lanes for fellowship and lunch. Beginning January 2012, we will be meeting at 6PM on the 1st Tuesday of the month to allow members that cannot attend daytime meetings to become more involved.
Over the years, our club has provided over $75,000 in scholarships for local high school seniors. We are currently awarding several $1000 scholarships annually. We are also the proud sponsor of Key Clubs at Henry Sibley High School, Woodbury High School, Park High School, and South St Paul High School.
We have build park shelters and playground equipment and have purchased emergency equipment for the West St Paul and Mendota Heights Police and Fire Departments. We've sponsored Special Olympics in our area and have also made significant contributions to loacal charities including Boy Scouts and YMCA programs for children with special needs.
